E Minor Pentatonic: Fingering 1

The numbers I’ve written on the diagram shown are the scale degrees of the minor pentatonic scale. Although it’s not absolutely essential to memorize all the scale degrees on the diagram, it is critical to memorize the locations of the root notes. These are represented by the 1‘s on the diagram, and knowing where they are located within the fingering will allow you to move the fingering to new keys. This is really important unless you intend to only solo using E Minor Pentatonic! 🙂
